Organic turmeric naturally contains 2–5% curcumin — the active compound responsible for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. For daily use, ½ tsp in warm milk (haldi doodh), with a pinch of black pepper significantly improves curcumin absorption. You can also add it to dal, sabzi, or morning warm water. Consistency matters more than quantity — daily small doses work better than occasional large ones.
