Bilona is the traditional hand-churning process: curd is set from A2 milk, churned to butter, then slow-cooked. It preserves nutrients in a way industrial ghee never can — and it is the standard CSIR-IHBT validation work refers to.

Yes. Pure A2 bilona ghee is one of the gentlest fats for both children and the elderly. Start with half a teaspoon a day and use it in everyday cooking.

Supermarket ghee is usually cream-separated and made from mixed-breed milk. Ours is hand-churned from curd of A2 desi cow milk only — closer to what your grandmother made, with the purity profile referenced in CSIR-IHBT studies.

The math is honest: Commercial ghee — 1 litre from 20 litres of A1 crossbred cow milk processed by industrial machines. Parwaaz A2 Bilona Ghee — 1 litre from 28-35 litres of indigenous A2 cow milk churned by hand using traditional method. If someone is selling A2 bilona ghee at ₹400-600 per 500g — the maths simply do not work for genuine product. Either the breed is not verified A2, or the method is not bilona, or both. Our pricing reflects the actual cost of doing this right. Nothing more.
